The Master's in Television and Cross-Media Culture explores contemporary media culture from a critical perspective. The programme offers you the tools to understand and evaluate the ongoing transformation of media culture and its impact on culture, politics and everyday life. Taking television as a starting point, it maps out the conceptual, social and cultural challenges that come with digital, mobile and social media.
The Master's in Television and Cross-Media Culture provides students with in-depth knowledge of contemporary cross-media culture, viewed from historical, theoretical and critical perspectives, and applied to topics such as:

This will allow you to participate in ongoing debates and to give relevant input to cultural, political or industrial endeavours concerning media culture.
After graduation you are prepared for a broad range of career opportunities within the field of Media Studies. You can find employment in the media and cultural industries as for instance an editor at a broadcasting or production company or in different capacities in the field of journalism.

Television and Cross-Media Culture is an accredited degree programme of Media Studies. After successful completion of this programme, you will receive a legally accredited Master’s degree in Media Studies and the title Master of Arts (MA).
